Ten Tilia cordata trees were examined with an ultrasonic instrument Arbotom 2D software (Rinn Tech, Germany). Were examined The interrelationships between the age of a tree, the ultrasonic velocity. Two-dimensional images of the tree samples were constructed using (Arbotom                  ® software). The results show very promising possibilities of applications these techniques.</abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru">Целью настоящего исследования являлась оценка состояния древесины деревьев Tilia cordata , растущих на территориях Летнего сада, Михайловского сада и сада Михайловского (Инженерного) замка г. Санкт-Петербурга, с использованием ультразвуковой томографической аппаратуры «Aрботом                  ®». Использовалось программное обеспечение 2D (Rinn Tech, Germany). Обследовались 50 деревьев Tilia cordata . Были рассмотрены взаимосвязи между возрастом дерева и скоростью распространения ультразвука в его стволе. Получены двумерные изображения сечения ствола дерева, отражающие внутреннее распределение плотности древесины. Предложена методика сравнительной оценки состояния деревьев.
