Generally accepted research methods were used. The hens were raised under the same conditions. The experiments revealed that chickens had a high growth rate at an early age. At 56-day age, live weight of hen from group 1 was 3438 g, which was 2.69 % less than in group 2, and carcass weight was 2.89 % less (P &lt; 0.05). In carcasses of broilers from group 2, weight of muscle tissue was 3.14 % more (P &gt; 0.05), however, fat and bones were less by 0.22 and 0.09 %, respectively. Compared to 1-day-old chickens, 56-day-old broilers had increased relative weight: muscle tissue in group 1 and group 2 - by 13.04 and 13.27 %, respectively; fat - by 4.02 and 3.80 %, respectively; while relative bone weight decreased by 16.25 and 16.34 % in group 1 and group 2, respectively. Ground-grazing raising of chickens is not inferior in meat productivity to cage rising. At the same time, veterinary and sanitary indicators differ in the quality of meat.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p style="text-align: justify;">У курочек нового кросса «Смена 9» в 1-, 35-, 42-, 49- и 56-суточном возрастах изучали динамику живой массы, морфологию тушек и их морфометрические показатели, а также химический состав мышц при клеточном (группа 1) и напольно-выгульном выращивании (группа 2). Использовали классические методы исследования. Курочек содержали в одинаковых условиях. Установили, что курочки в раннем возрасте обладают высокой скоростью роста. Живая масса курочки группы 1 к 56-суточному возрасту составила 3438 г, что меньше, чем в группе 2, на 2,69 %, а масса тушек - на 2,89 % меньше (P &lt; 0,05). В тушках бройлеров группы 2 содержание мышечной ткани больше на 3,14 % (P &gt; 0,05), но жира меньше на 0,22 %, костей меньше на 0,09 %. По сравнению с суточными цыплятами у 56-суточных бройлеров повысилась относительная масса: мышечной ткани в группе 1 на 13,04 %, в группе 2 -- на 13,27 %, жира - на 4,02 и 3,80 % соответственно, в то время как относительная масса костей снизилась на 16,25 (группа 1) и 16,34 % (группа 2). Напольно-выгульное содержание курочек не уступает по показателям продуктивности мяса клеточному содержанию.
