This study provides a detailed analysis of the interaction between oncogenic processes and develops a preliminary algorithm and mathematical model for predicting survival based on tumor morphology, with an emphasis on cases showing atypical cellular structures. There is no clear consensus on the etiology of malignant cell transformation in cats, nor are there well-defined criteria for differentiating contributing factors in squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Predicting survival and metastasis of SCC in cats remains challenging despite advances such as standardized systems. The study revealed a relationship between morphological characteristics of SCC in cats and survival: degree of differentiation, cellular atypism, bone invasion, mitotic index, and necrosis. An experimental model has been developed to predict risks but requires validation on independent datasets due to the small sample size. Recommendations for implementing the model in veterinary practice have been developed. Thus, further investigation of factors influencing feline cancer development is essential. This will aid not only in predicting survival but also in the effective prevention and treatment of cancer - a key goal of modern oncology.</p>
Это поможет не только прогнозировать выживаемость пациентов, но и эффективно предотвращать и лечить рак, что является ключевой задачей современной онкологии.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>felis</kwd><kwd>keratinocyte carcinoma</kwd><kwd>felis</kwd><kwd>skin neoplasms</kwd><kwd>median survival</kwd><kwd>etiology and pathogenesis</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>карцинома кератиноцитов</kwd><kwd>кожные новообразования</kwd><kwd>медиана выживаемости</kwd><kwd>этиология</kwd><kwd>патогенез</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta><fn-group/></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Villamil JA, Henry CJ, Bryan JN, et al.
