Theoretical justification, practice and prospects of applied biotechnology in agronomy

Kornatsky S.A., Vvedensky V.V.

Abstract

The paper considers the possibility of disease-free crop in the practice of agriculture. Focuses on the problem points in the development of technologies of mass clonal micropropagation. On the example of the Russian Peoples' Friendship University demonstrated the benefit of a biotechnological laboratory for the development of innovative science, modern educational process and implementation of intensive technology.

The influence of brassinosteroids in rape seed germination and growth on early stage of onthogenesis under NaCl stress

Efimova M.V., Hasan J.K., Kholodova V.P., Kuznetsov V.V.

Abstract

The influence of different concentrations of NaCl (from 50 to 200 mM) on rape seedling germination and morphogenesis in darkness were investigated. It was supposed that protective effect of brassinosteroids under salt stress depended on the with ability of the phytohormones investigated to regulate contents of stress hormones or stress signal intermediates.

Dynamics of Ni accumulation and possible causes of Fe deficiency in amaranthus hybrids leaves

Cheremisina A.I., Shevyakova N.I., Kuznetsov V.V.

Abstract

Amaranthus paniculatus f. cruentus (Cherry jam) were grown in the phytotron on Johnson nutrient solution with 2 mM Fe3+-EDTA. Six weeks plants were treated with NiCl2. In the presence of 100 and 200 uM NiCl2 uptake of Fe in mature and especially young leaves sharply inhibited. Possible mechanisms of Ni and Fe competition and the role of this phenomenon in determining the level of phytoremediation potential of amaranthus plants are discussed.

Controlling the reliability of results received during laboratory testing for phytosanitary purposes when molecular diagnostic methods are used

Mazurin E.S., Kopina M.B., Sherokolava N.A.

Abstract

An internal PCR control system based on a mouse gene fragment cloned into a vector was developed. The created internal control system allowed for choosing a method for DNA extraction from bio-baits which doesn't inhibit the amplification process when Phytophthora sp. is being diagnosed. During the process of diagnosing the pathogen of the ring rot of potato, it was shown that the developed internal control in real-time PCR turned out to be more informative than the mitochondrial gene of a host plant used for that purpose.

Biological properties of tobamovirus isolates from tomato plants

Trang N.H., Keldish M.A., Pomaskov U.I.

Abstract

The data that we obtained by different isolates of Tobamovirus (TMV, ToMV), circulating from the tested hybrids in glasshouse, indicate the presence of different types of them, which is consistent with published data on the composition of the field virus isolates. Studying isolates with symptoms on tomatoes and additional test plants, suggests the existence of at least four strains of Tomato mosaic virus, and one - Tobacco mosaic virus. Lambsquarters Chenopodium album, two varieties of pepper Capsicum annuum - "Spirit", "Podarok Moldovi" and two varieties of tobacco - "Gersegovina trebine" and "Dubek" were found out susceptible to isolate T3.

Evaluation of different components of organic-mineral mixtures to be used on city lawns

Nagornyy V.D., Fatijev М.М.

Abstract

Feasibility of production of organic-mineral mixtures using composted manure, sapropel, dolomite, mineral fertilizers, hydrogel and formaldehyde has been shown. Such mixtures may have higher content of NPKCaMg and higher CEC and water holding capacity, and may be safely used on city lawns.

Substantiation regime of drip irrigation and mineral nutrition of onions in Nepal's condition

Shuravilin A.V., Bimala B.B.

Abstract

The results of research on the effect of drip irrigation regimes and doses of mineral fertilizers on water consumption and yield of onions cultivated on alluvial soils of southern Nepal are presented in this work. It was established that with an increase in the preirrigation threshold moisture level of soil and mineral fertilizers increased crop yield of onions.

Fish-breeding-biological and productional characteristic of reproductive peculiar properties of crucian and gold carp breeders and their's hybrids

Plieva T.K., Tetdoev V.V., Michaleva T.A., Lavrentyeva N.M., Konyashina L.K.

Abstract

The reproductive characteristics of crucian carp producers, the growth of hybrids and pure types in the embryonic and postembryonic period have been studied. The valuation of crucian carp has been done, that allowed them to be attributed to the first class. It was found that some differences on the exterior were observed on the volume of ejaculate, and on the working absolute fecundity of crucian carp. These indicators were higher in silver crucian carp than gold crucian carp. Breeding performance had great influence on the development of the young crucian carp types. Hybrid young crucian carp fry had higher weight than pure types of crucian carp that live in ponds with different feeding conditions.

Dynamics of muscle growth in chickens of cornish breed

Amelina A.N., Nikitchenko D.V.

Abstract

We studied the dynamics of muscle growth of 1-, 28-, 42-, 155-, 220- and 420-days old cornish breed chickens. It was established that the most intense muscle growth is up to 42- days old. The increase in muscle anatomical areas is uneven. The absolute mass of the muscles of the axial skeleton of 420-day-old chickens in-creased as compared to 1-day to 207,46, the peripheral - in 141,64 times.
